This is what’s going on in Russia:
Today, Russia is not just turning away from the West and towards itself, but we are creating, restoring, and constructing our own understanding of Russian civilization, its origins, meanings, and path. We do not invent it as primitively "anti-Western", but establish and formulate the knowledge of our own identity – this is the main guarantee of our full-fledged independent future.
It is impossible to stop the movement that has begun in this direction, but it is possible to try to slow it down by pitting the right and the left against each other, as has already happened in our history. To declare Ilyin a "fascist", to take Lenin out of the Mausoleum, that is, to set the supporters of socialist ideas against the traditionalist imperialists. This calculation is understandable, but it is doomed to failure. Because it is not the left or the right that is betting on it, but all the "liberals" who have lost. It is they who hope to use young people, traditionally inclined to leftist ideas, as a striking force against the far right, and ultimately against the "fascist state." But the fact is that in Russia there is neither a globalist-minded left nor a fascist right, as a more or less noticeable phenomenon.
In our society, including its younger part, there are different ideas about the correct structure of the state and society, there are different views on our history, but there is a firm conviction: we are strong only in unity. And in unity not only today, but also with all our ancestors, including those who hated each other, such as Lenin and Ilyin. We may assess their role in the history of Russia in different ways, but we will not allow the names of our great ancestors to be manipulated in order to split our people and deprive them of the right to independently comprehend the Russian path.
