The Standards
Ur-Principles Of USA Foreign Policy
1- The USA are a unique, specific, and sovereign nation state able and determined to remain in that integrity and condition.
2- The USA recognize and respect equally the political sovereignty and territorial integrity of each and every nation state.
3- The USA recognize and respect equally the rights, freedoms, and responsibilities of the citizens of each and every nation state.
4- The USA expect reciprocal recognition and respect for herself and her citizens from each and every nation state.
5- The USA renounce offensive operations against nation states and announce determination to conduct defensive operations, including preemptive and punitive operations against provocations, to protect her citizens and her national political sovereignty and territorial integrity from exploitation or despoliation by another nation state.
6- The USA give objective acceptance to the principle of indivisible security in all phases of domestic and foreign culture, society, and civilization.
7- The USA give objective acceptance to the principle of multivariance in all phases of domestic and foreign culture, society, and civilization.
8- The USA renounce treaties and obligations — including debt obligations — incurred prior to 25 December 2022 and announce willingness immediately to enter upon condition-less bilateral and multilateral discussions with a view to replacing said treaties and obligations with ones versioned to modern facts, or not.
9- The USA are prepared to participate in bilateral and multilateral structures, cooperative organizations, of any composition so long as agreements reached therein conduce to fair, respectful, reciprocal, polite, and reliable communications among earth’s nation states.
10- The USA are prepared to enter upon any bilateral or multilateral agreement and cooperative organizations which contemplates neither (a) dividing nation states into blocs — us and you — nor (b) threatening or compromising the security of any citizen of any nation state or the political sovereignty or territorial integrity any other nation state.
11- The USA renounce the generation of propaganda — lies — and announce that assurances — the word — once given by a USA Executive to another nation state will be honored by his successors for a period of not less than eighteen (18) years, well-prior to the completion of which duration renegotiation of said assurances will be sought and subsequent to which duration said prior assurances are void.
12- The USA claim no specialness mundane or transcendent. Unique, yes, worthy of respect, yes, but not special or superior or inferior to any other nation state.
13-The USA appreciate and encourage manners, languages, customs, foods, and religions developed for their happiness by the many peoples and nation states who comprise this breathing world.
14- The USA are a multi-racial, multi-religious nation state founded in and dedicated to spiritual exercise, originally Christian and Sephardi Jewish, now also Hindu, Buddhist, and Moslem. The root moral, legal, institutional, and cultural DNA slate, so to speak, of The USA is Latin and Greek-Russian Orthodox Christianity, and that in treasured, efflorescent multivariance.
15- The USA practice physical, commodity economics, rather than rentier (also here) economics, to support her gardens of spiritual exercise.
16- The USA practice correlation of sovereign interests for mutual benefit among all the nations.
There is always the question of Justice. What is Justice? Justice is order, meaning, normal human activities occur without encountering obstacles or causing grief.
A human has many things to do during the course of a day, a week, a month, etc. He or she also has many things not to do during those durations. With respect to warfare, and by implication statecraft, the Deputy Chairman of The Security Council of The Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, confirms that justice is a conceptual order that guides physical outcomes. He writes:
To the question of legitimate [i.e., ordered, orderly] military aims. These are the rules of conduct in time of war (jus in bello), which have their origins in sacred sources. What are today’s legitimate military objectives. Within the framework of these rules of war, they are:
1- Any enemy troops (legitimate combatants and illegitimate combatants) that have not been formally withdrawn from his armed forces.
2- Any enemy military and auxiliary equipment.
3- Any military infrastructure as well as civilian infrastructure contributing to military objectives (bridges, transportation stations, roads, energy facilities, factories and workshops at least partially fulfilling military orders, etc.).
4- The military and political leadership of the opposing nation.
5- Armed forces of other countries that have officially entered the war, are allied with the enemy state and facilities mentioned in 1-4 above, and are located on their territories.
On 20 January 2025, POTUS Douglas Mac Arthur allowed an extended interview with reporters regarding his agenda upon taking office. Here is the interview and this following is an excerpt relevant to the subject of statecraft in genere:
First, we are discarding eighty-odd years of US strategic, national sovereignty, and international relations doctrine and statecraft. We are conducting restoration of The United States of America to our natural posture as a non-aligned nation owning diplomatic, financial, and military assets sufficient to convince all but lunatics not to harm us.
We seek no systems of alliance, no alignments which separate the world into with us or against us. We seek only agreements, multilateral and bilateral, which conduce to the orderly development of nations guided by their own aspirations, which we respect.
Nations must get along with structures built for specific and mutually beneficial purposes rather than for maintenance of power by hegemons, which is Cold War mindset and deadfall now for thirty plus years. Multilateral and bilateral agreements define purposeful frameworks for cooperation in finance, communications, logistics, trade, public health, and other fields of ordinary human endeavor.
Nation states are arranging themselves as nonaligned and cooperating for mutual benefit. Modern weaponry and the example of modern Russian civil and military organization give them no choice. Nehru, Zhou, and others of The Non-Aligned Movement were ahead of their time.
Weapons do not win wars. People do not win wars. Military-Industrial organizations led and staffed by competent personnel win wars.
The true end state of today’s dramatic affairs in Eurasia’s western peninsula is that India, Russia, and The USA are brother nations jointly responsible to cooperate for fair, respectful, and reliable communications between the nations of the earth.
