Redesign For Homeland Defense
The enemies of The USofA, in the sense of those who wish us harm and to disappear us, are families of the West Eurasian Peninsula, led by self-prominent ones of Great Britain, Germany, France, and by extension, Canada.1

We US-Americans want a true
General Staff to watch over us.
Now, today, US-American military TOEs must be redesigned by a true General Staff to protect The USofA homeland only. I estimate 5 Joint Force Military Districts / 5 Joint Force Corps d'armée are needed for this mission. I further estimate that said mission and military TOE redesign will be seen as reasonable by the generality of US-American citizens, who must, in toto, as a total phenomenon of nationhood, bear the burden of ensuring US-American national cultural prestige:
one on the West Coast,
one on the Southern Border,
one on the North/North Central Border,
one on the North/Northeastern Border,
one on the Caribbean Coast.
Each District / Corps d'armée comprises 5 Military Capabilities:
Sustainment -- correlates with the Elemental Principle, Space
ISR -- correlates with the Elemental Principle, Air
Fires -- correlates with the Elemental Principle, Fire
Engineering -- correlates with the Elemental Principle, Water
Assault -- correlates with the Elemental Principle, Earth.
These capabilities embody as Divisions in each District / Corps d'armée, 5 Divisions in each of the 5 Districts / Corps d'armée. Each Division is built from a TOE required by its mission set for success amid the vulnerabilities, topographies, and maneuver resources peculiar to its AO:
Sustainment Division
ISR Division
Fires Division
Engineering Division
Assault Division
This makes 25 Divisions in 5 Corps, 5 Divisions per Corps. Taken altogether as The USofA Total Joint Force, this is The United States Army.
The entire edifice of force is a true Net-Centric Joint Force, top to bottom and all around the sides, from a true General Staff to Corps and Division Commands to Company and Squad TOEs. The 5-sided elemental architecture provides stability, flexibility, and resilience to the whole force. Net-centricity — for what Russians call RUK / ROK = Recon Strike Complex / Recon Fires Complex — provides the punch.
Sustainment Capabilities (current nomenclature: Combat Service Support) include current TRADOC -- but for a true Joint Force, a true United States Army -- Logistics, Medical, Quartermaster, Finance, Procurement and Testing, Military Police, JAG, Administrative Services, Transportation, Signals Networking and Processing, and related forces.
ISR Capabilities include current air, SOF, light armor, cavalry, drone, and the several domain-specific ISR forces.
Fires Capabilities include current cyber, drone, rocketry, air defense (AD), suppression of enemy air defense (SEAD), electronic warfare (EW), space-based, information, drone, and traditional tube artillery forces.
Engineering Capabilities (current nomenclature: Combat Support) include current military construction and maintenance, riverine, green-water, and blue-water naval assets, state ownership of the US defense industry, and development of near and far space-based forces.
Assault Capabilities include current infantry, heavy armor, light-armor, mobility / fires vehicles, hand-mobile fires, drone, and civil affairs forces.
The mission of ground forces governs
operations of The Joint Force.
